SLO NO TEMPO
A cappella quartet. Vocal Group. Vocal Band. Whichever name you prefer, Slow No Tempo is four guys making music with just their voices, based in Kamloops. The quartet was formed in the fall of 2018 and has been impressing audiences ever since at everything from large gala events to singing on the street corner at the Farmer’s Market with their unique brand of humour and beautiful blend of voices. SNT sings a wide variety of music, from pop/rock bangers to sea shanties to jazz crooning to barbershop and everything in between. Each year they pick a local charity for their Singing Valentine fundraiser, travelling throughout Kamloops spreading messages of love and caring.
Slow No Tempo is a perfect example of what can happen when you fund music education initiatives: Each member is a product of their school music programs, and 3 of the 4 founding members initially met in their youth at the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music
