Yesterday, the provincial health order was changed to now include movie theatres, therefore we have been asked to cease all operations until December 7th. This includes private bookings as well as our regular screenings every weekend. If you bought tickets for a show that has now been cancelled, please email us at info@thekfs.ca for a refund if you’d like one. Thank you for your understanding during this time, and we’ll see you when this health order is lifted.

Theodore Decker was 13 years old when his mother was killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The tragedy changes the course of his life, sending him on a stirring odyssey of grief and guilt, reinvention and redemption, and even love. Through it all, he holds on to one tangible piece of hope from that terrible day -- a painting of a tiny bird chained to its perch.
