Yesterday, the provincial health order was changed to now include movie theatres, therefore we have been asked to cease all operations until December 7th. This includes private bookings as well as our regular screenings every weekend. If you bought tickets for a show that has now been cancelled, please email us at info@thekfs.ca for a refund if you’d like one. Thank you for your understanding during this time, and we’ll see you when this health order is lifted.

KISS THE GROUND

Thursday Film Series

Showtimes & Tickets

Narrated and featuring Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground is an inspiring and ground-breaking film that reveals the first viable solution to our climate crisis. Kiss the Ground reveals that, by regenerating the world’s soils, we can completely and rapidly stabilize Earth’s climate, restore lost ecosystems and create abundant food supplies. Using compelling graphics and visuals, along with striking NASA and NOAA footage, the film artfully illustrates how, by drawing down atmospheric carbon, soil is the missing piece of the climate puzzle. This movie is positioned to catalyze a movement to accomplish the impossible – to solve humanity’s greatest challenge, to balance the climate and secure our species future.

“IT'S DENSE BUT NUTRITIOUS. THE SCIENCE IS EXPLAINED IN SIMPLE TERMS WITH PLENTY OF VISUALLY STRIKING GRAPHICS AND ANIMATION.”

- Kevin Crust, Los Angeles Times

“A… PERSUASIVE AND OPTIMISTIC PLAN TO COUNTER THE CLIMATE CRISIS.”

- Natalia Winkelman, New York Times
