KFS Ticket Rules & Regulations

• Up to 24 hours before a given event, tickets can be refunded/ exchanged. After this point, there will no refunds/ exchanges. If the tickets were bought online, they can be refunded online, but if bought in person or if an exchange is needed, they can only be refunded/ exchanged in person during open hours at the Paramount Theatre.
• A $2 admin fee will be charged per ticket for any refunds/ exchanges processed online, however there is no fee when doing refunds/exchanges in person.
• Fees apply when purchasing tickets or passes online.
• You can buy tickets at the door as well if there are any remaining.
• You are required to bring a copy of your ticket to the showing, either digitally or printed out. We will be checking people in by name, but should there be a discrepancy, we may need to check the ticket.
• Tickets required for everyone 2 years old and up or if younger than 2, but still taking up a seat.

Kamloops Film Festival Passes

$90 for a Full Festival Pass
The Full Festival Pass allows entry for the bearer to all the screenings during the 2023 Kamloops Film Festival at the Paramount Theatre. Once you purchase the pass, bring your receipt to the Paramount Theatre during open hours starting March 1 to pick up your physical pass. Once you have your physical pass, you just need to show it on arrival for any films you want to attend at the festival. Pass attendees must be in the theatre no later than 15min before the screening. After this time, remaining seats may be sold at the door. No cash value. No exchanges.

$70 for a 10-Film Pass
There is no physical pass component to the 10 Film Pass, it is more of a package discount. This pass allows you to choose 10 films from the Kamloops Film Festival (KFF) lineup at a discounted price either online or at the Paramount Theatre. Pass holders are required to have either chosen their film online or to have gotten a physical ticket at the Paramount Theatre before arriving for the screening. The 10 tickets can be for the same film or for 10 different films or any combination in between. All of the film choices do not have to be made at the same time. Pass attendees must be in the theatre no later than 15min before the screening. After this time, remaining seats may be sold at the door. No cash value. No exchanges.

$40 for a 5-Film Pass
There is no physical pass component to the 5 Film Pass, it is more of a package discount. This pass allows you to choose 5 films from the Kamloops Film Festival (KFF) lineup at a discounted price either online or at the Paramount Theatre. The DarkFest Pass allows entry for the bearer to both DarkFest screenings during the 2023 Kamloops Film Festival at the Paramount Theatre. Once you purchase the pass, bring your receipt to the Paramount Theatre during open hours starting March 1 to pick up your physical pass. Once you have your physical pass, you just need to show it on arrival at the two DarkFest films. Pass attendees must be in the theatre no later than 15min before the screening. After this time, remaining seats may be sold at the door. No cash value. No exchanges.

Kamloops Film Society is responsible for operating in compliance with the Motion Picture Act and Consumer Protection BC.

To attend a Kamloops Film Society film screening (which may not have been classified by Consumer Protection BC), you must be a Kamloops Film Society member.

Membership is by annual subscription and only members who are 18 years of age or over are permitted to be present at the place where a non-classified film is being exhibited.
